The American Albanian Islamic Center of Wisconsin was established in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1979 as a religious and cultural center to serve the people of the Islamic faith throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
In 1979 we began with 25 members and as the community grew there was a need for an Imam. The center hired its first Imam in 1985. Today the center has approximately 400 members.
When the center was established By-laws were created which guide and regulate the affairs of the center.
